Celebrating Active Minds and Bodies with Helen Doron English
At Helen Doron English, we passionately believe that an active body fuels an active mind. Our recent “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign, which ran from November 2023 to June 2024, was a testament to this philosophy. This initiative was designed to underscore the importance of regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, seamlessly integrating these values into our unique educational methodology.
The Power of Movement
Scientific studies supports the notion that physical activity has a profound impact on cognitive skills and brain development. Exercise is known to enhance memory, improve thinking skills, and boost overall mental health. At Helen Doron English, we don’t just focus on language learning; we weave in elements of physical activity, proper nutrition, and overall well-being into our programmes to ensure holistic development. This approach is embodied in our campaign, highlighting how an active lifestyle can be a cornerstone of effective learning.
Moving the World
The “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign was a global endeavour, with Helen Doron Learning Centres worldwide participating. This unified effort benefited local communities and strengthened our network’s shared commitment to enhancing children’s lives through holistic education. By promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, we are making a tangible impact on the communities we serve.
Giving Back to the Community
In line with our commitment to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle, 60% of the campaign winnings will be donated to a charity or non-profit organisation that supports this mission. This gesture amplifies the impact of our efforts, ensuring that the benefits of an active lifestyle extend beyond our immediate community.
